ladyjack
went out last sunday on my perm,i asked a PW member if he would like to join me,glad he said yes,he set up target board,55yrd,then worked back to 80yrds,explained everything to me about drop, and alot of other things, then we shot a few crows with shotguns, anyway, went back on wed til friday, after putting into practice, what some one had taken time to explain, after shooting a few bunnies,i then ranged a rabbitt at 96yrds,looked at the graph, that PW member, had drawn for me,took the shot, massive grin on my face,as rabbitt bowled over, next ranged at 121yrds,back to graph, held my breath, checked graph again, pulled trigger, thud rabbitt down stone dead, well i know it might not be a big deal for all you rabbit shooters, but for me it was amazing, and all thanks to a PW member who could be botherd to spare a bit of his time,PS THE MEMBERS PW NAME IS MAXWELL,IT WAS ABOUT 2HR ROUND TRIP FOR HIM,SO ANYONE WHO HAS THE CHANCE OF GOING OUT WITH HIM,YOU SHOULD JUMP AT THE CHANCE,I NOW LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT TIME I GO OUT AND KEEP ON PRACTICING WHAT I WAS SHOWN,ONCE AGAIN A MASSIVE THANKS TO HIM. WelshMike
hi mike, useing a cz silouette 22winnie subs, going back on thursday, must remember to take some photos, Spot on mate, keep up the good work. I cheat slightly and use a .17 hmr to avoid such complicated things like holdover.
ladyjack
had 17hmr on my fac application,to many bad reports, had it taken off and put fac air on instead
WelshMike
had 17hmr on my fac application,to many bad reports, had it taken off and put fac air on instead I have put a couple of thousand rounds through my 2 .17hmrs and apart from 2 case failures no problems. I had a .22 lr for years but after a couple of ricochets I opted for the .17 hmr. I wouldnt be without them now. To be fair there are pros and cons with both but understand peoples reluctance with the issues that have been happening. Sounds like you are doing very well with your chosen calibre, keep up the fine work.
