belly47
I have just made a batch of bunny burgers and will freeze them for future use. My question is will I need to defrost them before cooking or will they be okay to cook from frozen. I have used pork belly along with the rabbit Edited June 21, 2015 by belly47
Ira
I reckon follow the rules for Pork if you have used it, I believe that means defrost it to ensure its all cooked right through, mind you I have a delinquent gardener who reckons raw bacon is great???? ( mind you he is a special case)

Ronnie B
I thought all uncooked meet had to be defrosted prior to cooking, with only cooked meet able to be cooked straight from frozen. Might be wrong, only my thoughts
belly47
Most beefburgers are cooked from frozen
Ira
Nope you can cook minced beef straight from the freezer, Often do that for a bolognaise, speaking of which I and the kids are having pigeon bolognaise tonight, lovely!! One of the only meals my daughter has seconds of, she's
belly47
Also a beef joint can be cooked from frozen. Bacon is also sliced when frozen. So if you buy fresh sliced bacon and freeze it ,this will be it's second freeze. Just asking the question specifically what people do with rabbit burgers.I guess if using rabbits from the freezer I will just have to make smaller batches and keep them refrigerated until used. colin lad
burgers are fine cooked from frozen and if on a bbq then probably better from frozen as they tend not to stick to rack colin
