Totally agree Tightchoke, it is totally unacceptable that our NHS should be put at risk by those that wish to take and not contribute. Hard work and dedication have built the NHS into the great institution that it is, it must not be destroyed by those not entitled to its services....

Apparently the government intend spending £1.3 billion on social care for Chinese elderly and improving growth in " middle income " countries ? As a taxpayer, I resent sending our money abroad to a rapidly emerging economy such as China....have the government not noticed the NHS is under-funded and in crisis ? This government need to get real....spend at home, we are not a never ending supply of money to those we wish to curry favour with !

As said, the ability to detect night time over the prescribed speed limit drivers has been available for some considerable time, does not raise sufficient revenue as to be worthwhile, that's why it's not often deployed.

Call me old fashioned but are not the hospitals staffed with their fair share of "managers"......do something productive and collect the money owed for services supplied, it's our NHS, not the world and it's mother's ! While we are at it, spend some of the vast amounts of foreign aid that is wasted abroad on us, hospitals, basic infrastructure to deal with the changing demographic. It's time to stop playing "Lady Bountiful" to these countries, let them sort themselves out and not rely on handouts........
