littlerob
We all seen gun reviews by all the magazines and test by certin contry sports chanels on youtube and they all have something good to say about the guns. So either there no such thing as a bad gun to stay away from or they sing praise as there paid to promote guns
CharlesP
I suspect it's all to do with advertising revenue. If there's a gun to test they'll try to find nothing bad to say about it because they don't want to upset the manufacturer or the distributor or the importer. The Mighty Prawn
It's actually hard to buy a terrible new gun these days, there might be odd things that bother you like mags that dont drop or palm swell but generally reviewers review the gun in the context of it's price point so a Hatstand is not going to be compared to an English best There is undoubtedly a degree of not wanting to rock the boat but that exists in any commercial media form
Gunman
I had a warrantee job on a gun that had been out for a "review" .I got it straight from the ground that it had been tested on . The review in the magazine some how failed to point out the gun they tested did not fire on the second barrel as the striker was actually missing , whether that had any ting to do with the two page advert or not I don't know . A trade acquaintance has done some gun tests for a well know publication and when I asked him about this he did admit that there had been guns that had been rejected .
