micro chipping

I had my hound done at the same time as her first jabs.

 

The chip is about the same size as a small grain of rice and is "injected" in the loose skin round the neck/shoulder area, she never even flinched.

We used Petrac upon the recommendation of quite a few knowledgeable people.

Its a good idea we had ours done @3 months and I have to say with a small dog the size of the needle certainly made me wince. I'd leave it longer as the better grown the dog is the less chance of the chip migrating too far. Ours is currently under her front leg so has moved a long way :rolleyes:

had my boy when we picked him up at 10 weeks.

 

cost 15 quid.

i had my 2 labs done at 8 weeks with the jabs, it was cheaper to get it with the jabs.
