kennett
Dow tordon max can be used over any growth stage of brassica, but won't control grass. Belchim Lentagran will control grass yo some extent but has to be applied to small weeds, when the brassica leaves have properly hardened off. hesstondriver
there are plenty of chemicals to control weeds in brassicas as the are used in oil seed rape, because of eu licencing and pesticide regulations the cost of a spray for a minoriry crop will be higher than a spray for a large scale one Kerb wold take the grass out but im not sure a) if you can use it on kale or B what time of year it is approved for . alastair0903
I am fairly sure kerb is not suitable for use at this time of year .It has to be applied in cold damp condition for best results in osr .
kennett
Kerb is a autumn/winter spray. My maize looks shocking at the moment due to lack of rain, kale won't need to long to shoot up once it turns wet, can be drilled into stubbles and still produce useful cover so you have plenty of time yet.
