cromwell7
Matalans own brand heavy cotton cargo trousers, sounds daft but they are great for what you describe they come in a olive green colour
Penelope
German Army surplus moleskin, c.£25. Heavy duty cotton with cargo pockets.
norfolk dumpling
On a serious note I'm looking for trousers for beating/shooting and not over-trousers but being 5.4" and a 34" waist I'm struggling to find branded pairs. I need 29/30" leg. Anyone seen any? There was a company in the West Country who promised to bring some along to Stow *** Quay fair but they turned out to be a) twice the price mentioned in an email and b) twice the leg length when I tried them on. Aled
I have a similar problem! Have you had a look at John Norris web site? They do moleskin trousers in 34/29. Cheers Aled
Penelope
Seriously, the German Army moleskin, a brilliant trouser. http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/german-moleskin-combat-trousers-313698.html http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Genuine-German-Army-Moleskin-Trousers-Military-Surplus-Work-Combat-Green-/161076749267 http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/flcct5na.html On a serious note I'm looking for trousers for beating/shooting and not over-trousers but being 5.4" and a 34" waist I'm struggling to find branded pairs. Savhmr
Ex army issue DPM. Can't go wrong. I use different typres deepnding on season and cover, incluing Multicam, Cadpat (genuine), UK woodland dpm, and Flecktarn. The Flecktarn and Multicam are the heaviest and most robust. All are genuine issue surplus and cheaper than buying fancy shooting branded trousers. Edited August 9, 2015 by Savhmr
