remmy1100
well decided to do rightup about recent foxes shot with new photon had 3 in a week and am mighty impressed with this cheap unit first fox we took was in a barley stubble no idea we were there shot at 260 yards needed the nm800 but he was clear as daylight.second was taken on a rape stubble from one of our highseats called it in from 200yds with mouth sqeaks came in like a train even though i could see it clearly far out wanted it where could get perfect shot as the rape stalks are a foot high in places and 1" thick was 60 yards when i took the shot and dropped it cleanly, could see it clearly all the way in with the onboard ir only the one pictured was taken from same field spotted two mooching about on far side of field on a rise at 300 yards watched them with just photon no ir as was good moon on after 30 mins of back and forth they came into safe shot area and one was 150 yards and one at 100 i decided to take this one as rape was shorter and presented better shot it had its back so waited for it to come round broadside a quick squeek stopped it and took heart shot dropping it on spot .the other ran slightly and stopped in a unsafe position before trotting off .my mate was out last night in same hightseat and saw it again but was out of range for his hmr and with those stalks would of been impossible.all foxes were taken with 223 and 55 grain homeloads.anyone thinking of a new photon i highly recommend it and so does my mate who bought one. have videos of shots taken off photon with dvr will upload when i find out how too Edited August 29, 2015 by remmy1100

Can't beat the NM800,think I might just order the new XT, was just a little apprehensive as the previous XT i had got a little grainy at about 70mtrs and very focus fussy.
