leon
Just wondering about this I am going to try and get a few non-shooting friends into our wonderfull sport, I think the best way would be to go out with a guide (something I have always wanted to do to) Any suggestions on a decent guide? for any form of shooting. NGhost
Take them to a clay ground first. Nothing more off putting than sitting in a hide to miss the relativly few shots that you do get. Guides can be good, a little expensive to my mind for what you get.

webber
Great idea to introduce some of your friends to shooting; but stop and think first. These people are non-shooters, who presumably have not handled a real gun before? Are you serious about taking them to a field, placing them in a hide and allowing them to just have a blast at virtually anything that moves. I hope not! Any guide would soon suss you and them out and hopefully send you packing. Get in touch with a good clay ground and talk to them. I am sure that any decent ground will sort something out at a reasonable cost for a small group, and you will know that your mates have at least had the basics from a proffesional coach. You can them book some time with a pigeon guide if that how you wish to spend your britches **** cash in the knowledge that your mate is not likeley to blow you to bits and that he stands a good chanse of hitting his bird. I have introduced several people to shooting some shoot live quarry, some dont, either way I always enjoy my day out. Regards webber
