WinchesterDave
Well, I put a post on 2 weeks ago I think it was saying how I'd booked a Land Rover Experience at the centre in Cheshire. Well today was the day and I was like a kid at Christmas waking up this morning I could not wait!! left early doors this morning and arrived 15 Minutes early, parked up and went through the arch way of the castle to get signed in. There was a Jaguar event on today and there were a hefty number of the new XE Jags and a few F Types there also which looked awesome in front of the castle, but I was quickly distracted by the fleet of Experience Land Rover vehicles haha!! got signed in met our instructor, Andy, who was a really nice, informative and funny guy and made my girlfriend and I feel incredibly comfortable So we headed out in the 110, Instructor driving, explaining all about where we where, what we'd be doing, and then about the car, diff lock, low range, anti stall, traction control etc explaining what they do and so on. after about 10 minutes maybe, it was time for me to get in and I was just so excited haha!! off I went. We did looads whilst I was driving and went in to the quarry bit which Andy described as a Land Rover Torture ground lol... it was ace!! we did loads there being able to see all its systems working to the max. I found most interesting was going down the 60 degree hill, stopping half way down and the reversing back up it by simply slowly releasing the clutch. .. it's just awesome!!! I truly did have a fantastic time, and although I do love my little Jimny.....when funds are right in the future, would I think about a Defender... err yes haha!!! I loved it and it met my expectations Atb, Dave. p.s..... I thought it was an appropriate time to wear my hoodie with Defender on which my Girlfriend bought for me lol...
