tony2 Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 i used to watch a series of programs called jacks game hosted by jack charlton . in it he did all the field sports ie wildfowling, deer stalking etc he did one program on pegion shooting with the major archie coats. i've been trying to get hold of the series on dvd but hav'nt had any luck. does any one know if its available? bobby t Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 it is widely available on ebay. i have a firend who has seen this programme many times and swears blind that when stalking jack misses a shot and the clip is re edited to another shot that he makes succesfully. im sure i also read somewhere in a countryman's weekly that this is true. jonnybgood Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 I wish there was more things like that on tv now,the only shooting i have seen on tv lately is on river cottage cooking program.he has gone pigeon shooting,teal flighting and deer stalking.but this is raley shown for any period of time in the episode.
