Fisheruk
During my recent visit to North Carolina, my hosts mentioned that they had an invasion of a family of Ground Hogs munching in their veg plot. I was told they were "very fast" and very wary, scurrying off at the first sound or sight. Well the women went off to a meeting and I stayed behind with a Henry lever action. An hour later I was rewarded as the Big Daddy showed up in the Veg patch. A satisfying single shot did the deed at 50 yards. He weighed a bit over 5lb. Interestingly the rest of the family have not been seen since. Like most vermin, they can take a hint. It's called survival. Loved the Henry. The water bottle is just to show a bit of scale.
