B25Modelman
I have two gun dealers in my local area, Winchester, that have quoted their charges, £50 and £25. IMHO £50 seems a lot for receiving and verifying.
Savhmr
Receiving and paperwork average cost should be nearer the £25 I'd have thought. Both ways seems more like £50 (plus courier costs). I always bank on around £50 to £75 both ways if courier costs are included. trickhannah
My RFD charges £10.50 for sending a gun and no charge for receiving and putting onto my certificate. Next shop charge £25 for sending and £25 for receiving.

Gee.
Went through this the other day. Local RFD who I use a lot wants £50/£35 to send/receive. Got quite defensive when I said that I thought it was a bit steep. Other local RFD charged £30/
Harnser
They can charge whatever they like . If you think they are lifting your leg .then don't use them . I think £50 is a bit steep . But they do have to make a living . I wouldn't buy anything from a RFD who wanted to charge me £50 to send a gun . activeviii
£20 either way from the RFD I use. Others have tried to pull the wool but I do not use them for anything now. Others are going the same way
