Alright people, I would consider myself to be both reasonable and patient but a local firearms dealer (who shall remain nameless) is beginning to wind me up :good:

I bought a used 12g o/u lamber from him nearly 3 weeks ago (after waiting 6 weeks for it to come back from the gun-smiths to have the barrels touched up). I picked it up on the friday and then went to the nearby clay ground on the saturday only to find that the top barrel wouldnt fire  The pin was hitting the cartridge but not with sufficient power to fire it.

Anyway, i took it back to the guy that day and hes said, "im really sorry, I'll make it a priority and get it sorted". So, 2 weeks later he still hasnt even looked at it, so do you think im out of order to expect it to have been sorted by now. Im going to ring him in wednesday and demand either the gun back fixed or my money back.

Rant over.

Goods must be of reasonable quality, and be able to perform their function whether secondhand or not. Just tell him politely to sort it or you will be seeking help from Trading Standards.

Im always polite but enough is enough, hell be getting a call tomorrow. As for where it is, well all ill say is the guy is infamous for taking his time, I quite like the bloke and hes an honest enough guy but he has NO IDEA when it comes to customer service or prioritisation.
