B25Modelman
How do you do it. Some threads are closer to the muzzle (725) some are way down (Inv+) Blast with WD40 nozzle and then rotate a bronze brush or patch jagging. Maybe one of these in my Borch IXO Edited October 24, 2015 by B25Modelman
steve_b_wales
Usually, when the choke is removed, a wool mop. or bronze one, soaked with cleaning fluid will remove any muck on the threads. Make sure you have a fine film of grease on the choke threads. I use Copperslip, available from Halfords or similar.

fenboy
You should be able to buy a thread cleaning tool if your gun is one of the popular makes.
Gunman
A chamber brush is a good tool but you need a 16 or 20 bore one .
