THAIBOXER
Well i eventually got my finger out my *** today and put the new seals into the lads QB78 .22 and had JUST finished setting up the weird scope (sussat style reticule) when THIS dopey so n so landed right in the field of view robbing seed from the table. Entry point Exit wound Shot with a RWS hobby .22 at approx 25 yards "lights out" Meat is now in the freezer waiting for the next BBQ LG youre a "dead eye pigeon shooter" with that one. naddan28
very good thai! nice shooting LG! I have 4 pigeons at home in the garden who rob all the seed before the songbirds get a chance. Did look at them the other day but I think I will leave them well alone as its in the garden, we all know what neighbours can be like! kirky640
is it legal to shoot these doves thought some of them were out of bounds ?? or is it just stock doves that are off limits kirky
naddan28
http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-countrysi...gen-licence.htm Collared Doves are on the license but... whether you could argue they were shot to the conditions of the licene is another thing. Teal
Well can't doubt the accuracy of the shot, and I've shot my fair share of collard doves around grain barns where they can cause financial loss through contamination. That said, wouldn't shoot one for coming to my bird table!!
Lord Geordie
Seeing as this seems to have stirred up a few feathers (pun intended) i think it may be better if i edit this post. LG

LG I was not suggesting you remove the pics LG just informing people of the fact collared dove is on general licence and the conditions of the licence.
