fieldwanderer
Hi all, Ok, I've seen that some time a while ago someone asked the same question and there were loads of members in lincolnshire, anyway; I live in lincoln and shoot .22 rim and have been shooting with a 12bore for around 2yrs now, all rough shooting. To be frank, I'm good with a rifle but hopeless with a shotgun so I was hoping maybe someone would be good enough to give me some pointers sometime? I do have a relatively small farm on which to shoot but just lately there's not a lot about. More than anything I want to learn about pigeon shooting, particularly over decoys and how to hit them! Obviously there's bound to be a few beers in it if you're up for it? Other than that, who's about in lincoln/nearby and what do you do (shooting wise)? Spoonix
I live in Sleaford, im an air rifle shooter myself, however do dabble in a bit of the shotgun shooting, cadets was what got me started and I love it, just i leave for my army training in October, so theres no real point in me getting my SC or FAC, well untill i get some spare time. You can't really be taught shotgun shooting to be honest, obviously you can be given tips and the basics, but its mostly just practise. Im pants at decoying tho lol Rob
Bungle
Hello, I'm over in Louth and am pretty new to this malarkey too! I've got some days booked for this up and coming game season and apart from that will be shooting clays during summer. If you fancy having a go at a few pigeons one evening or weekend, give me shout and I'll try to sort something out with you. See you later.
