tube size

Light transfer will be better with the larger tube size so better in low light conditions. That said alot depends on the quality of the optics and Meopta are excellent. I had a 25mm Schmidt and Bender on my Blaser LRS2 for a while and it was fine in pretty dim conditions so if its a top quality scope there shouldn't be a vast difference.

Really depends on what its used for and conditions.

Sorry, but that is not right.

Tube size has little to do with light transmission and everything to do with increasing the amount of adjustability in the erector tube for windage and elevation. You get more adjustment in a larger tube. Light transmission is a factor of other things like lens quality, twightlight factor, lens coating quality and size of image captured at ocular in relation to your pupil size (7mm being optimal).
