SNAKEBITE
Happy St. Georges day, have a few pints of warm ale to wash down the pie and boiled to death vegetables Celebrate all that is English and don't let the p.c. brigade grind you down. Oh and a special mention as well for "Royal Marine Rememberence day" today as well. A moment to reflect on all they are doing to serve this country and for those who have fallen for this country. Dunkield
Having been drinking Californian 'beer' for the last week, I had to go and have a couple of London Prides just to remember why England is still the best - even if it is only for lunchtime drinking

henry d
As I`ve just finished, well 99%, of re-wiring the house, I shall be having a steak and kidney pudding washed down with a bottle or 3 of Hook Norton 303 AD ale. Youngs and Daleside also do a St.George ale too !!
Axe
I just returned froma round trip to Reading of all places. Outbound via the M25 & M4 and return via Guildford, Horsham, A24. Some total of 'proud to be' St George Flag fliers.....2..... And one of those was an old boy driving his car past the office before I had even left. Sundodger
It should be a bank holiday today most other countries celebrate their saints with a day off and some sort of festivities. And to boot it’s miserable and dull down here in the West Country. Whats it like where you are?
