BangBangNik
Ooooooooo, I hadn't even given a thought to proper Cornish pasties!!!!! Worth the 6 hour drive just for that alone!
Gordon R
Brett - we visit Philps on every holiday down there - 28 or more times. Decent size - decent prices. We had some a few years ago at the Horse and Jockey, Porthleven - they were excellent, but disappointed with them last year. Fullers in Brixham harbour were the best I have had until we visited Wadebridge. Loads of people walking round with either red and white or blue and white striped bags, with pasties in. I asked one couple where they were from - next minute we were in Malcolm Barnecutts. Been back a few times.
fat_jay
First stop for us each year is a pasty from St Mawes Bakery and a pint from the St Mawes Hotel. Nathan Outlaws has a tiny restaurant in Port Isaac which is well worth a visit.
