The Lawn Ranger
Hi all, my lab pup is now 8 months old and I'm needing to get him off the puppy food. With previous working dogs I started to introduce them slowly to adult working dog food from 8-9 months and fully on adult food by around 18 months, I really don't know if I should continue this method or start him on a junior food as there seems to be some good varieties around nowadays. Thanks for any input..
WGD
Mine are all on good quality adult food with a reasonably high protein % by the time they are 6 - 7 months.
fenboy
If it was mine he would be on adult food by now , the "junior" branding is just a money making tool . Chect the ingredients against adult foods and you will find they are the same .
