Dave-G
Skip the shirt and tie bit unless you want to sell them something - thats almost as much a no-no as being cammed up. You will get further by wearing similar to what country folk wear. Cant tell you what to say - but don't tell them they have a duty to keep bunnies to a minimum. BSA Shaun
Be polite and take no as no. You never know they may forward you to a friend or colleague. Be up front tho, tell them what you can and can't do and what your services will mean for them

Sundodger
Hi Roadkill, I have just recetly got three Farms to shoot over by Knocking, I turned up clean shaven and smartly dressed no shirt or tie a bit OTT that. Just clean jeans and sweat shirt and clean shoes/boots. Just ask then if you can shoot over there land and tell them that you shoot Pigeons and Rabbits. Show some interest in them if possible. On one farm the farmers wife was gardening, I got chating to her about the garden and hey presto I got some shooting permission. Just be natural and your self.
