NorfolkAYA
Sorry to be negative but using different cartridges on the day will not really help you if you are a novice shooter. I would go for one or the other. after all this debate I got my self down the local shop and got myself a slab of sipe 26gm 6 shot hopefully they do the job , can't wait for tommorow now, make a difference from shooting the pigeons

Paul T
I use Sipe in a 20bore and they are 26g of #6 with fibre wad. They drop birds just fine. Sipes worked well, 11 pheasent and 2 partridge Did say so, didn't I? ? They are definitely my cartridge choice for the 20 Sounds like you had a good day - well done! old'un
Hi all, I'm off on my first driven day on sat, having recently switched to 20b I have been using 24gm 6 shot. In fretting on which cartridge to buy for sat. I want to buy some sipes, 25gm 6 shot but I am worried these will be to light, and thinking of either buying 28gm 6 shot hull high pheasants or 28gm 6 pure gold? Anyone offer any advice? Cheers Pete Bit late now, but why did switch to a 20 bore, from I presume, a 12 bore?
NorfolkAYA
Bit late now, but why did switch to a 20 bore, from I presume, a 12 bore? Hi bud, yeah changed from a 12b at the start of the year just for weight and the handling of a 20b, I much prefer it. It's a pleasure to shoot 👍
