old'un Posted January 23, 2016 Report Share Posted January 23, 2016 Express used to-be a good cheap cartridge, I used nothing else for years but the price as crept up over the years, now I only use Gamebore clear pigeon 6-30g fib, great cartridge and some of the shots I taken at range 40+ yards with clean kills has surprised me, think the last time I brought some they were about £208 per 1000 as against express @ £230 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

clakk Posted January 24, 2016 Report Share Posted January 24, 2016 Eley Pigeon select are £175 for a 1000 fibre and plaswad are £165 per 1000 at Melbourne Tackle and Gun near me .Good all round cartridge ,not used Lyeval express for a while as they are expensive for a pigeon cartridge .
