Well the new scope arrived :good:

Thanks to Fister top bloke  was very well packaged!

Put it up on the .17hmr will get out tomorrow to zero and hopefully will have a feww bunnies with it next week.

Seems i spend more time online rather than shooting these days... oh well the summer is nearly upon us and being a student that means ill have alot of time to shoot bunnies

Opps  forgot to say its a Hawke Target 6-24x50 seems to have very good light tranmission even at 24x will try it out when it gets a bit darker out there.

looks well psitta i too have a hawke i think they are ok for the dosh, have you got your semi yet?

No mate still waiting on the license

The super in my area thinks that one rifle is more than enough for anyone so have to write him a couple of letters as to why i need the two.

Will post up picks when i get it its a cracker of a rifle

Looks good M8. Did you oil the stock yourself?? Looks to have depth, nice

Its a standard CZ stock very nice grain looks gorgous when the sun falls on it nice lines runnung through it.

Theres a sort of gloss finish on it if you look closely, when it gets enough dings ill take it off strip it and oil it.

looks good on there mate - i've got a nighteye on my 17 and it has never let me down yet.

good hunting  - try an ASE Utra Mod on the end, it knocks the sound down much better than a SAK.

I've never heard the difference but people say there's not a lot in it. The ase is supposed to offer another 10%.

All i can hear when i shoot is a crack anyway theres virtually no "bang" so its good enough for me and the bunnies dont mind.

Thanks for the comments folks :good:

Not quite sure i think it was more me than the scope but i kinda lost confidence in it and i wanted a bit of extra mag as well so i just got a new one dont want to be shooting things with an off zero scope either.

When i get the .22 ill try it out i dont want to waste any more ammo on it.

Zeroed today only 2 three shot groups dont have the paitance to shoot more. :good:

Not sure how your supposed to measure edge to edge or centre to centre but anyway will have to go to a range some day and see what the rifle is capable of from what i've seen with the right nut behind the trigger it could turn out to be a very accurate little gun.

Pulled one but they're both acceptable anyway.

Should be out on the bunnies tomorrow :)

100yards verified
