TIGHTCHOKE
My car insurance is due for renewal early in March. I ventured on to a couple of the Comparison Sites and filled in my details. MoneySuperMarket.com was the first to offer a good quote and the best deal was with Swinton. The comparison site directed me to Swinton and a phone number. Contacted Swinton and confirmed all of the details that I had previously entered on to the comparison site. GUESS WHAT? The quote went up by £45.00, I queried this and the young lady answering my question was unable to account for the increase. I thanked her for her efforts and suggested we were both wasting our time. I then went to the next offer from MoneySuperMarket.com, this was with the Halifax. I was again redirected and ended up speaking with a chap in India, the difference was this time the quote went down by just over a pound! I am now insured through the Halifax! Anybody else been mucked about like this?
