spandit
Decided on a whim to go out lamping with the new Finnfire (new to me). Got a couple of bunnies in the sights but one of them was stood on a ridgeline and although the rifle is really accurate, it just wasn't a safe shot. The other one was quite close to the top of a rise too. Saw at least 2 foxes, pretty eery under a red lamp. Made it up the hill to sit in my high seat (that the neighbour still hasn't convinced me to take down ) and waited for things to settle down after all the noise I'd made. Then it started bloody raining and I had to call it a night. Fortunately, the log stove was going so I got the gun inside and took the stock off. Gave everything a wipe down and let it dry. Took the opportunity to lighten the trigger a little as it was a bit heavy. Before I put the action back in the stock I wiped gun oil all over it with a soft cloth. Still looks brand new. kory1986
the rifle will be fine as long as you dryed it off and gave it a good oil it may be a good idea just to get a oily rag and put a light coat off oil on the barrel and tge action before you go out hunting then dry off and re oil when you get back

I leave mine to air dry then wipe with oil. Mine was soaked after the stalk tonight.
