LeadWasp
If you have a river with different land owners on either side and each own river bed to the median line, what are the norms/protocols/accepted practices of a fisherman on bank A casting into pools or the over by bank B? Or fo that matter the main flow where it is significantly close to bank B. OK or not? Edited April 6, 2016 by LeadWasp

Danger-Mouse
Unless there`s another angler directly opposite then I can`t see any problem.
LeadWasp
I believe both take place on this river - one local club fishes coarse, the other fly I think.
felly100
It's fly only at the moment anyway. Is wading allowed? If so,you can cast anywhere. All clubs have different bylaws so ask your club secretary.
LeadWasp
I think sea trout only at the moment if I read my EA Southeastern Bylaws correctly but I'm happy to be corrected on that. I can ask the Agent at the neighbouring land about their take on wading, but as I'm finding anglers on my side (both in the water and on the bank) now I'm getting a bit p'ed off. One bank is let to 2 clubs. Edited April 6, 2016 by LeadWasp
UKPoacher
Legally you can't cast or wade past the centre line of the river. To do so without permission would be poaching.
LeadWasp
OK thanks - I was trying to find out if there was an acceped give and take where each side could cast to the others, however I understood the wading issue was a trespass.
