fenboy
My latest trainee 9 month old Mitch is coming along really nicely at the moment . I have been concentrating on sending him back for retrieves this week and getting him to take a nice straight line. So far so good , I think he is going to make a really nice dog. fenboy
Nice great idea using the tramline. Not just a tram line though that helps some. You cannot see it in the picture but he is being sent back for a memory retrieve that is close to a white bucket so he has a target to go straight I will have the dummy different distances away from the dummy but always in line with it. Once he has the hang of that then I do the same but with blind retrieves once that is ok I will remove the bucket and hopefully he will be running straight lines.
