Davyo
I've always used real chamois on my good cars (none shooting bus).My wife's new Ford was supaguard coated and came with a big cleaning kit which included a microfiber drying towel and some other smaller towels. Can't believe how quick they remove water from the car, thought it was mainly due to the supaguard. I've since gone out and bought 1 extra large Kent drying towel and 2 small towels for my bus.I can have the bus dried down in 5 mins with no streaky marks & a 3rd of the price of a good chamois.Well I say shooting bus but it's a fishing bus since I stopped shooting so tend to want to look after it.It gets a good coat of Auto Glym twice a year. figgy
Fishing bus for time being. You'll be back shooting in some form in the future maybe air rifles at rats around the fishing lakes and rivers.
Fuji Shooter
I have to say whenever we are in town I always pop into Wilko as they have extra large Micro Fibre Drying clothes for next to nothing. You can virtually dry the entire car without having to wring it out and then just chuck them in the washing machine for next time.
