mag357 Posted May 17, 2016 Report Share Posted May 17, 2016 Been making shot now for 5 years and made between 800 and 1000Kg of shot, tried all sorts of greases and chalks and always returned to 'french' engineers chalk. I find it more consistent than any other and polish the drip ledge to a high finish with 1200 grit paper. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I made my own pan to start with and was not very successful as the steel I used was too thin (I think?) I have yet to make any useable shot yet but becoming addicted already..
