Paul taylor
Bit late to be asking but I know half of us are nocturnal lol. Any pigeon watchers out on the clays local to me want a bit of company or just a suggestion of where I should go for a round of clays tomorrow? I want to go get my eye in a bit more but can't decide where to go. Cockett farm, White water, park lodge. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance. Paul. Not to worry though, I can shoot lots of Sky another Day Edited October 16, 2016 by Silver pig

Silver pig
I think that's better than getting cabin fever. I hope you enjoy your walk.

Silver pig
I have not been myself yet pal, only been shooting shotguns for about 1 year and not that good. I wish I did live on a farm but I don't, me and the wife go to white water most weekends too.
Paul taylor
Park lodge is a good ground, only ever been in the week for a practice so you operate the traps yourself but they do have a delay function for if you shoot alone. Not done white water yet myself, not normally into clay shooting but need a bit of practice before I start on the Pheasants. It's not my farm I go on but one I have permission on. Went for a good walk with the Dog and Son, only got one shot off but good to be out with my lad.
Silver pig
I wish my lad would show an interest in shooting or even walking with the dogs but if it hasn't got a plug on it or connected to the Internet he's not bothered. The youth of today live in a little world of their own. Edited October 17, 2016 by Silver pig
Paul taylor
Mines same but I luckily I got him into nature and fishing at a very early age so I can still get him out. It's hard at times though!

Danger-Mouse
Might try park lodge this Friday morning , only got licence in July I'm pretty awful but they say practice makes perfect lol Get yourself up to Pinewood near Gainsborough if you haven`t been there yet. Lovely ground, friendly people and a nice mix of targets on the sporting. The compak is good too, just make sure you shoot the easy version though because the hard version is an absolute beast, extremely challenging. Danger-Mouse
How's Sycamore doing Neil? Do you shoot weekends? No idea mate. I`m no longer involved with the ground. Went to Nottingham and District this Saturday but that`s the first time I`ve been out in a while. Have a new job starting soon so hopefully I`ll be able to afford to do a bit more shooting than I`ve been doing of late. I`ll be working a lot of weekends though so I`ll most likely be shooting during the week with just the occasional weekend shoot.
