roadkill
One of my fields was covered in pigeons yesterday afternoon and it was the field with youg wheat shoots on, i didn't think that pigeons were interested in wheat until its been cut? The rape fields around the estate are growing well and have been left so far by the pigeons. Jamie
aga man
I have seen pigeons on a wheat field field just the same this week. I walked them off but failed to see what they was feeding on. I doubt they are feeding on the wheat shoots, more like weeds growing between the rows or maybe they are gritting after feeding on Beechmast or acorns if the land is stoney/flinty.?
