MC
Well here it is guys, After quite a long wait and thought I was never going to get one, Fulton's came up trumps It is a RPA Quadlock action with a border stainless 1-13 twist barrel, RPA Trakker rearsight with variable iris and Fulton adjustable foresight, again with adjustable iris. Aluminium bedded in a laminated wood stock. I have yet to fire it but will be doing so in the next few weeks. I will be using 155gr sierra palma match bullets factory loaded at 40p each. I'll let you know how I get on.

Dunkield
Very nice gun Martin, looks like it has a rail on it, so you could ditch those open sights get a nice big scope on there, Harris up front and away you go

They do a tapered scope rail as most scopes won't have the elevation range adjustment to go from 300 - 1200yds. It does have a 11mm dovetail raill right across the top of the action though. Dunkield
Martin, For those of use that don't know, what class do you shoot in with those guns, and at what ranges typically? It certainly looks like a fine piece of engineering.

MC
Martin, For those of use that don't know, what class do you shoot in with those guns, and at what ranges typically? It certainly looks like a fine piece of engineering. Stuart, The class that these rifle are used is TR or Target rifle. It is shot over distance from 300 to 1200yds and a typical course of fire is 2 sighting shots and either 5, 7 or 10 to count. It is done with 7.62mm standard ammunition that can be bought commercially, no handloading is allowed. Most ammo is NATO standard issue although they are now 5.56mm so there is more commercial stuff being used. There is no bipod or any other kind of rest used apart from a sling that is attached to the front of the rifle and is then wrapped around your arm to support the rifle. If you want an idea of cost the action alone (no barrel stack sights of trigger) is over £650. Although I did not pay any where near that.
