flippermaj
Hi all, Just looking to load my first shells. I have Sam 1 wads that will need slitting. I will only be reloading a small quantity each year so will be slitting the wads by hand. From what I gather they need four slits, but how far down do I go and is it true vertical slit or do I put a small angle on it? Cheers Flipper

They don't NEED four slits, but this is probably the way for you to do it. I slit mine to 2/3 of the way down. It doesn't really matter if your cuts aren't 100% vertical, but that's roughly what I try to achieve.
flippermaj
Hi Motty, Thanks for the reply. If they don't need four slits how many do you put in yours? Cheers
