fieldwanderer
Having a bit of a think at the moment so for now I'm just "guaging interest" I've got a cz american .22 (look on cz site to see what they're like) and I was wondering if anyone would want to swap a synthetic stock for my "american" stock? I've enlarged the groove the barrell sits in to make it "floating" and can put very tight groups through it But I've always had a bit of a soft spot for these rifles with the synthetic stock. So, as said, anyone interested? anyone got any reasons why I should stick with wood?
Curly87
if you cant find someone to swap with, you could just try going down to ur local gun shop and seeing if they will sell you one. thats what i did and got it for around the £60 mark, much nice than the wooden stock i think alot more hard wearing and you dont have to worry so much about knocking it on things

Peter_HMR
Im not sure that it would work the american has 2 action screws while the sillouhette uses i action screw and a barrel lug so it would be a case of swapping the rifle. You could try your RFD and see if he would swap with you or give him a bit of cash. OR save yourself some money get a knife and put a few scratches on it and then you wont worry while your out in the field.
