wymberley
Guys, Can anyone recommend a half decent one, preferably leather. No adverts seem to give the extension length - other than the odd one which is too much - and I need one which is not too much more than 1/2"? Don't want to mess about with the gun as it's for occasional use by another shooter. Many thanks.
Duckandswing
I use a bear tooth on one of my guns. It's not leather but has several foam inserts that extend the stock from less than half inch to over an inch. Easy to get on and off and easy to dry neoprene. darren 67
Hi, when I wanted to try a different length of pull I unscrewed the butt pad used as a rough template for the holes and screwed it back on with half inch ply between. Marked around stock on both sides because of difering angles and took it back of. Roughly cut to size and then sanded to marks and replaced. Resulting in a quick but solid extention. If you are fussy you could even stain the ply and let it dry before putting back on.
darren 67
If you do use a slip on one dont leave it on for period of time. Look on here how many ask about getting leathr stains from stocks!
