fieldwanderer
I already have these in .22-250 but want a set in .260rem. Anyone know where I can buy a pair (f.l. sizer and bullet seater), preferably online? I've got on really well with the ones I have but can't find anyone selling them in .
Vince Green
I would have though somewhere like Tim Hannam would be a good place to start?
fieldwanderer
It's the seater with the little "window" to pop bullets through that I'm after more than anything so, if any of the other brands do something similar, I'm open to suggestions
Woodlander
You could try ordering them in from the States. I got a friend to send me a set over, but I'm sure they would post them to you,may even work out cheaper, including postage.
fieldwanderer
Actually, it appears there is no such thing. Just been on the rcbs site and they dont list one. Sooo, what do you recommend? Without going too mad price wise - better than lee or the likes but without needing a remortgage

fieldwanderer
I missed that unfortunately, bought redding dies - can't remember what they're called but both seater and neck sizer have micrometers on them and a body die is included in the set. I got a little neck bush too but, in the absence of any loaded ammunition, measured a virgin case (well, average of 5 but being lapua, they all measured the same) and knocked a thou off to allow for a tiny bit of spring back after sizing. I'll just have to see how it goes

I think I paid £97 for mine lol Good dies :-)
fieldwanderer
I should hope so at that price... Happened to find a review saying the forster seating die's quite a bit better too but hey, they're on the way and I'm sure they're very capable of doing the job. Did you find a replacement for the 140gr a max dougy? I've picked up some 143gr eld-x to get me started. I was after bergers but my local shop don't have them, these look pretty lethal though just not quite as good a b.c. as the berger 140gr claim. Still got a few left (700 I think) I have a load of stuff I am picking up at the shooting show and on the list is a box of ELD to see what they are like. BC claims and actual BC, are apparently like fairy tales. Not that it would affect my shooting much. I bought a Rock Chucker new for £89 too. They have gone up a little since. fieldwanderer
Can't remember what I paid for mine, it's a rock chucker supreme, no idea what the difference is but I think it was nearer £200 and that was three years ago The eld's certainly look pretty capable
