Hendrix's rifle
Does anyone know roughly the times for a 141 in Cheshire at the minute? Thanks
scobydog
Hi H R, Can't comment on 141 but my renewal just before Xmas took 5 weeks so hopefully shouldn't be too bad, what you getting ?.
Hendrix's rifle
Cheers for that, I've sold my wmr and put in for a 223. My wmr was only conditioned for fox and at night with it being a bit more difficult to judge range I decided to make it a bit easier for myself also trying to get it conditioned for deer or At best oalq. With a bit of luck eh Sorry you never got chance to use the 22mag, I was thinking 22 hornet but the feo said just get the 223 I won't argue with that Edited January 24, 2017 by Hendrix's rifle
scobydog
Shame it would have been good to try it out, could you get a 243 so you could do fox and the Reds as well ? just a thought mate.
39TDS
WMR for a 223 on a 141? I thought 141 was just same calibre. (My last one took from posted on Thursday to back on my doorstep by Tuesday)
Hendrix's rifle
Feo said 1 4 1 just 1 rifle for another, rang and confirmed this that the 22mag for a 223 would be classed as 1 4 1. Straight out the horses mouth so to speak One rifle for another
39TDS
Fair enough. If you don't mind me asking, is this also a step up in calibre for you or do you already have other rifles above the WMR?
Hendrix's rifle
Step up, took the advice from the feo, asked him a while ago about it and his words were give it a couple of months and get it in as I was originally thinking the 22hornet. He gave me the ok along with another fella in the firearms dep so with a bit of luck
39TDS
Have to say I have always found them to be a good bunch.
Hendrix's rifle
Just rang them all I got was up to 4 weeks so still none the wiser. I did ask again however about 1 4 1 variation costs and they said nothing, I asked about calipers and she said it doesn't matter, 1 rifle for another
steve_b_wales
A one for one variation is not calibre specific. I had a slot for a centrefire moderator, and swopped it for a .22 Hornet.
