walt1980
Just ordering a Lee load all 2, never reloaded before but fancy trying it. Been told it's a good and sensible one to start on. As for loads, I'm looking at doing 30g and 32g fibre wad 5 or 6 and a 36-40g fibre or plastic 4 or 5. More out of curiousity than anything else. Plastic seems a lot easier to do, is fibre hard to do??? Where's the best place to look for recipes?? Any help much appreciated!
hatsanmad
Speak with clay and game pal regarding data. As for fiber being harder i wouldnt say so just a little more work involved i.e adding nitro card and getting the wad hieght right for the shot column
walt1980
Yeah seen about the nitro card and some people using buffer for the powder. Is it a bit trial and error on some parts? Just being on the cautious side and being sensible?

Guest cookoff013
first, welcome to the world of reloading. second, do a little research. itll help in the long run. what i would be very inclined to do, and it is my own personal opinion. dont even bother with the 30g loads, you will find little data, where for 2 grams more (32g) there seems to be billions of recipes out there, some fibre recipes too. same thing applies to the 36g - 40g loads. cut your losses and do the classics, 36g and 42g fibre... thats 1,1/4oz and 1,1/2oz in old money. again there are loads of recipes out there. also if you want to economise even more 32g#5 and a 42g #4 are above average. you will need 2 powders for these jobs. the loadall can do both these loads. personally i`d look into the 32g load first, concentrate on that, once you have got alittle bit more experience and data, then you will be very comfortable in persuing the bigger loads. my first reloads were ultra steel, but i first reloaded and shot titewad subsonics. walt1980
Ah ok, so powder, nitro card, wad, nitro card, buffer, shot? I've got some data sheets coming and a mate of a mate is going to show me the basics as well which will be handy! Spoken to clay and game and they're sending me some data sheets as well. Are they the best people to speak to about reloading? Heard they keep pretty good stocks of items.

Uncle Albert
Give John a bell at Fes Kent. He is a mine of information and will put you right. Take a trip down there and get your supplies from him as well. He is extremely competitive as you will see from his website prices (####.co.uk). Save you the cost of paying the £40 or so cost of Hazmat charge for delivery of powder/primers.
