Anyone else looking at this?

Details here : https://basc.org.uk/events/basc-rifle-club-bisley-range-day-4/

I'm weighing it up and thinking about doing a later one when it's less likely to rain.

Indeed, they're really nice days out when done in Summer and then sun is shining.

There we go, looks like I've talked myself out of the 8th April

What about any of the other dates, listed below, any takers?

Saturday 8 April
Sunday 21 May
Wednesday 21 June
Thursday 10 August
Sunday 8 October

just looked on the basc site ... you need a scc card if you haven't got that they will do a range safety course for you which involves practical/ and theory questions and if you pass you will be aloud to shoot nra ranges for one year upto a max off 200meters.

seems a bit pointless now.

You know what, after seeing what the certificate holders do that I've seen, I really think I am better off not holding one.

Having a conversation with a chap possibly in his late 20s was gob smacked that I shot a rifle outside of a range. And without someone watching over my shoulder.

Nah ! I'll pass on the chance to shoot at a moving target and card that tells me I know which end the bullet comes out of.

Sorry Mungler.
