bruno22rf
Use them when decoying during the winter months but always with a crow decoy even when after pigeons - seems to give the pigeons confidence when coming into the pattern and quite often brings a crow in range as well. anser2
Never tried them as when you are pigeon decoying you have enough to carry with the hide , decoys and cartridges without lofting decoys. But lofted decoys work well. I used a weight on a length of strong line. Chucked the weight over a branch and pull the decoy up like a flag up a flag pole. But it must be tight against the branch or the wind will blow the decoy about in a unnatural manner.
