big bad lindz
A question for the techies out there from an older, some times slow to understand all this new technology person. I have borrowed an I pod from social dancing group that I attend in order to make up some new dance programs. I have been attempting to transfer music from the I pod onto the I tunes program on my lap top and then to store it on the lap top in order to edit and chop and change play lists but I am unable to do so. I can transfer music already on my lap top into the I pod and make the play list on there but I would like to be able to keep a copy of all the music already on the I pod (300 + tunes)on my lap top as I have to return the I pod. Can this be done easily or will I have to purchase my own I pod. I don't really need the all singing and dancing (no pun intended) I pod with camera, internet and all the other programs included as seems to be the way I only need something that will be able to transfer and play back music with a display I can read. Any useful information and help would be appreciated or a suggestion as to what I need to purchase. Thanks, BBL
keg
I had this issue and i was told that i can't x-fer I-pod to PC but i'm not particularly up to speed as i stream most of my music now. Something to do with copyright?
MrPhantom
You can do it - search YouTube, loads of helpful vids on there. I did it when my hard drive failed on my pc and I had no back up.
