welshwarrior
My son (6) and me tried archer today we really had a good laugh (boy time). I'm thinking I could put up a couple of bales and get a couple of cheap bows for some fun at home (help hand eye coordination as well). What draw weight and length do I need for a youngster? CaptainBeaky
As light as possible. 10lb max at his draw length. Ideally get some instruction at a club - easier to learn good technique first, than to unlearn mistakes later. Shooting a bow is 90% technique, 10% strength.
