Have any of you lads used one of these , to raise the comb , in the short term and if so do they work or just fall off , as they are only stuck on ?

I've been told that the 6mm one will raise the POA , by 10 inches at 30 yards , and that's what I need

Barrels are 28" 686

We've just been there and the consensus of opinion is that they also alter the cast. ISIS seems to be the sensible option. They thickest of these is - wait for it - 6mm.

I have tried most of the comb raisers on the market over the last 6 months, Beretta GelTek, ISIS and a Beartooth one, spent way too much money on them. I was having a problem with my Perazzi MT6 bruising my cheek and thought that it was down to the comb being too low.

All I can tell you is that now I don't have any of them on my gun, but did have a couple of lessons where the instructor put me right on poor mount and stance. So my advice is to get some professional advice from an instructor before you start investing, it may be simply a matter of technique (as it was in my case).

For what its worth, ISIS one was the best, although I thought it looked awful on the gun.
