digger
Took the girls with me when walking the dog this evening and happened upon a raft of wild strawberries. Two hours of sitting in the sun on a grassy bank eating the sweetest of mother natures fruit ( dog likes them too ) and watching the wild life go by. I would give a day to have another couple of hours like that, no tv, no mobile just the hum of flies, pigeons calling and my daughters enraptured by how intricate flowers are and watching opened mouthed as fox cubs played on the golf course. Dr W
Sounds idyllic I didn't think there were any places like that in Croydon?
SNAKEBITE
I do like places like that. I have a few "natures bounty" sites that shall remain secret! My dad told me about them and i shall pass on the locations to my kids. The favorite is the sweet chesnut tree that has a crop of the best tasting chestnuts I have ever had.
