Guest
When elevating the rifle the pellets slide in their slots and make a slight rattle. Any other Ultra owners notice this and could you fix it?
Ultrastu
I take it you have one of the newer dark blue mags with the plastic rotor and last shot indicator? Does the noise effect accuracy ?
Guest
It's the new plastic style. It's only an annoying little feature.
manthing
Mine came with a plastic magazine and I bought a new one that was metal, they both have a slight rattle but not enough to alert quarry at hunting ranges. As an aside, I've just been sent a link for BSA mags at 19.90 euros each plus p&p if anyone wants a link pm me. Guest
Considered adding something to dampen the noise but it would probably screw up the spinner. Just have to live with it. Btw do AA magazines also click?
suburban shooter
Try wider pellets such as JSB Exact as they come in differing sizes and will fill your mag holes to negate the rattle. They may well improve your groupings and velocity of pellets ,BSA seem to have slightly larger bored barrels and wider pellets will fit tighter
Guest
Good point. I'll try some wider pellets and come back with the results.
Whitetail
Try bisley magnums they normally shoot really well through bsa barrels
Pistol p
My plastic .177 mags still rattle on elevation. Work perfectly though.
