rimfire4969
When we buy our Poults they are given Baycox just before we get them. We have had our birds about 6 days and unfortunately one pen out of three has had a few problems which are down to the cauli boys and terrible tractor work. The birds in the pen have been extra stressed. Would you hit them with another dose of Baycox? While on the subject of pheasants does anyone add electrolytes to the water. A couple of keepers I have been talking to now do this as a matter of course.
kennett
I would try giving them a dose of multi vits if it is just stress causing them problems.
rimfire4969
I would try giving them a dose of multi vits if it is just stress causing them problems. This was my first plan. It was only after taking to the guy we gets the birds from said it was better to be safe than sorry.
kennett
My only worry would be a double dose might knock the good bugs out of their guts as well as the worms. BUT that's only a guess and if the pro said do it, might be better safe than sorry, especially if you have the same weather we are at the moment! Paul223
Acidification of the drinking water is probably the best single thing you can do to try to ensure the birds maintain a healthy gut
