Vince Green
Yep that was my point bud, jonno 357 seems to be surprised that people shoot corvids with rifles. Years ago my uncle used to decoy pigeons and shoot them when they landed with a .22 . He always maintained a pigeon wasn't worth the cost of a 12 bore cartridge
Walker570
Well, I purchased some Winchester subs .. 1000 , back in around 1990 and as I don't use a huge amount of them I was still using them last week on the rabbit problems. I then found I only had about 25 left in the box and went to the shop to replace. Purchased 250 ..that is all they had in stock ... and called in my wood to just re zero because I assumed things may have changed a bit in 27yrs. I fired six of the old stock and then six of the new stock resting across the bonnet of the Land Rover at 100yrds and was amazed that they where all within a 1 1/2 inch group and I could not tell which was which. Now in my view that is consistency from Winchester. This is out of a Marlin 880 S. Shot seven rabbits last evening with the new stock, three at 80yrds and they all were stone dead. No surprise, I have ordered another thousand.
