Dibs85
Hi Chaps, i have a quick question, i'm looking into yet another rifle a Remington 700 in .308. is this an easily customisable rifle? as in i would like to put a tactical stock on it for competition shooting but would also like to put a nice wooden stock on for stalking stags in Scotland. Is this just a matter of swapping stocks or is there something I'm missing? If it cant be done with a Remy are there any other rifles out there which fit the bill? Thanks in advance
JRDS
Probably more after market stuff for the Remmy 700 than any other rifle. You would need to re zero between stock swaps that would be your only issue.
lancer425
As above and so my advice would be try to get a stock that does both jobs adequately go for say a McMillan or something else that suits you to save swapping stocks. welshwarrior
Next you'll ask if it's warm in Hell. Yes the Remi 700 is probably the most easily and most often customised rifle around.
